The Way of Life
The Way of Life When you are small, a single street is an ocean, and a city greenhouse is a limitless, breathing wilderness. I still remember the first time I crossed the road as a child—stepping out of the urban noise and suddenly looking up at the giant, mountain-like glass frame of the National Museum of Natural Science’s Botanical Garden in Taichung. To my younger self, it wasn't just a park facility in the middle of a city; it was an untamed, mysterious world where giant ferns touched the sky and secrets hid behind every wet leaf. This project is an architectural reimagining built directly from that memory. Instead of capturing the site as a rational engineering project, I wanted to recreate the exact scale and awe I felt back then—a hidden dome swallowed by a valley of mist, towering waterfalls, and the sheer excitement of discovering a primeval jungle just across the street. We may grow up, but those moments of child-like wonder remain vast. This render is my attempt to bring that giant world back to life. --- 國立自然科學博物館 植物園. 1999 Architectural Design: 何肇喜建築師事務所 Visualization: @wen.viz 3ds max | corona | PS | non-AI
